Beaches
Discover miles of clean beaches about 2 km from our campsite.

Hiking & Biking
Every day there is something new to experience around the campground. Get out there on foot or by bike! Walk or bike along the kilometers of dunes. The island of Schouwen-Duiveland has created a beautiful walking and cycling route network. The reception team can provide you with more information about the routes.
Tip: You can rent bicycles, bicycle seats and children's bikes at the reception.

Forestry Westerschouwen
Boswachterij Westerschouwen is the largest forest in Zeeland. Explore the area on foot, by bicycle or take a nice ride with your horse, it's all possible. The specially laid tiled path was created so that even people who are less mobile can enjoy it. Along the way you will find picnic tables, bicycle stands, information poles, a hide and two viewing towers. The forest preserve is partly adjacent to the beach, so after a morning of active cycling or hiking, you can get a breath of fresh air or relax on the beach. At the main entrance to the forest on Kraaijensteinweg is the excursion barn. The excursion barn is the starting point of several tours.

Grevelingenmeer
About 10 minutes away by car is Lake Grevelinger, the largest saltwater lake in Western Europe. Many water sports enthusiasts like to recreate here. The beaches with sunbathing areas have swimming and surfing zones between the two dams. Canoeing, rowing, sailing, diving and taking a boat tour are also among the recreational possibilities on Lake Grevelingen. Fishing enthusiasts often find quiet spots along the densely vegetated shores.

Bunkers
In Zeeland you regularly come across remnants of the Second War. On Schouwen-Duiveland you can still encounter many bunkers during your bike ride or hike. In the Zeepeduinen and near Slot Haamstede you will find about 40 bunkers from the Second World War. On the high dune is the command post, the Whale bunker. This bunker and its associated other bunkers were part of the Atlantic Wall, the more than 2,500-kilometer-long German coastal defense line. Explore the Zeepeduinen, the red-green posts point the way.

Oosterschelde National Park
Nature lovers flock to the Eastern Scheldt every year. Did you know that Oosterschelde National Park is the largest National Park in the Netherlands? There is a lot to experience. You can take a boat tour, walk different routes, go to lookout points for bird watching, go diving in the clear water, spend a day fishing and much more.
Tip: Go on a cruise with the passenger ship 'De Onrust'. Who knows, you might spot seals and porpoises up close!

Beware Beach
For the most fun beach activities, Beware Beach is the place to be. There you can enjoy activities on the beach such as: archery, powerkiting, kitebuggying, block karting, standup paddling, kayaking, funtube, banana sailing, water skiing, wakeboarding and various beach sports. So unbelievably many possibilities!
Sailing and surfing center Brouwersdam

Various clinics are organized. Would you rather not be in the water? That has been thought of as well. You can also rent longboards.
